Feasibilities of foam-forming bacteria disintegration by ultrasonic atomization

چکیده

This article presents the feasibilities of bacterial disintegration using ultrasonic atomization. Ultrasound creates acoustic cavitation, which by its effects represents a high gradient pressure in form shock wave and local force effect. In our case, excitation produces fine micron mist 3 micrometers. The generated microcavities create cavitation cloud that is able to disintegrate foam-forming bacteria or even inactivate cells. main goal research use ultrasound during impact on living

Analysis of Size Correlations for Microdroplets Produced by Ultrasonic Atomization

Microencapsulation techniques are widely applied in the field of pharmaceutical production to control drugs release in time and in physiological environments. Ultrasonic-assisted atomization is a new technique to produce microencapsulated systems by a mechanical approach. Interest in this technique is due to the advantages evidenceable (low level of mechanical stress in materials, reduced energ...

DMMP Sensing Performance of Undoped and Al Doped Nanocrystalline ZnO Thin Films Prepared by Ultrasonic Atomization and Pyrolysis Method

Highly textured undoped (pure) and Al doped ZnO nanocrystalline thin films prepared by ultrasonic atomization and pyrolysis method are reported in this paper. ZnCl2 water solution was converted into fine mist by ultrasonic atomizer (Gapusol 9001 RBI Meylan, France). The mist was pyrolyzed on the glass substrates in horizontal quartz reactor placed in furnace. The Structural and microstructural ...

Ultrasonic atomization of liquids in drop-chain acoustic fountains.

When focused ultrasound waves of moderate intensity in liquid encounter an air interface, a chain of drops emerges from the liquid surface to form what is known as a drop-chain fountain. Atomization, or the emission of micro-droplets, occurs when the acoustic intensity exceeds a liquid-dependent threshold. While the cavitation-wave hypothesis, which states that atomization arises from a combina...

Modelling of the ultrasonic disintegration of activated sludge

Ultrasonic treatment of waste activated sludge is one of the possibilities to reduce excess sludge production through the mechanism of sludge disintegration and cell lysis. In the past, several attempts have been made to model the process of solubilisation of the particulate volatile suspended solid part of the activated sludge (VSS) into soluble COD (sCOD). However, the focus of these models w...

The Intensification of Sewage Sludge Anaerobic Digestion by Partial Disintegration of Surplus Activated Sludge and Foam

Large quantities of sludge are produced in biological wastewater treatment. Sludge has a high putrescibility and therefore has to be stabilizsed in order to enable an environmentally safe utilization or disposal. The anaerobic digestion is the standard technique to stabilize the sludge. Digestion produces biogas and reduces the amount of organic matter. The amount of excess sludge production fr...
